Safecity Introduces the new Dog Dazer electronic dog repellent device--helping prevent dog attacks

Safecity Dazer Electronic Dog Repellent Device --- dog attack prevention

Safecity electronic dog repellent device, a hand held ultrasonic anti dog device that helps prevent dog attacks against joggers, walkers, postmen, cyclists, the elderly, service engineers and sales people-- virtually anyone who is intimidated by dogs.

The Safecity electronic dog repellent device combines the latest ultrasonic technology with simplicity of use to provide the user with a humane alternative to help prevent dog attacks and avoid bitten by a dog.

The Safecity electronic dog repellent device emits a high frequency sound that is heard by dogs, but not by people.   The sound is detected by the dog at a distance of 15 feet (5 metres), however the most effective range is between 5 and 10 feet (1.5 and 3 metres).

Normal reactions of dogs

The normal normal reaction is for the dog to stop and in many cases to regress his position.

Dimply point the Safecity electronic dog repellent device at the approaching unfriendly dog and depress the built-in button for 2 to 3 seconds.

The sound does not physically harm the dog but it is very discomforting and the closer the dog is to the Safecity Dazer Electronic Dog Repellent Device, the more intense the sound becomes.

The Dazer offers the user an opportunity to establish a safe zone between themselves and the dog.

  • The Safecity electronic dog repellent device is lightweight and is compact and stylish.
  • The Safecity electronic dog repellent device comes with a 9 volt battery so that it is ready for immediate use.
  • A belt clip makes it easy to carry. The bright red LED indicates the battery is good and that the Safecity electronic dog repellent Safecity electronic dog repellent device is working.
  • The case is high impact ABS plastic and is ergonomically designed to fit the hand very comfortably.
  • The Safecity electronic dog repellent device also very effective as a training tool and can be used indoors.
The Safecity electronic dog repellent device was developed based on extensive research and studies from major universities and audiologists.
  • It has been tested by several independent organizations and veterinarians and found effective in avoiding contact with dogs--but barely perceptible
  • The output of the Safecity electronic dog repellent is a frequency and a sound pressure level that are readily heard by dogs but not by humans.   The Safecity dog Dazer will not utilize higher intensity sound.  This is because a higher sound level and intensity may cause damage to the dog's sensitive hearing.
  • The Safecity electronic dog repellent device is most effective on unfamiliar and aggressive dogs.  Using the Safecity electronic dog repellent device on familiar, passive dogs or the family pet, may not evoke significant reactions and is not recommended except as a negative reinforcement in training an animal.
  • Using the Safecity electronic dog repellent device on a familiar dog will cause confusion on the animal due to its loyalty instincts.

Using the Safecity Dazer electronic dog repellent device

  • Always test the Safecity Dazer electronic dog repellent device prior to exiting a safe place. Press the button and observe the red LED light.  If the LED does not light replace the battery and retest.  Incorrectly installed, dead or weak batteries are the common cause of LED inactivation.
  • Point the sensor end at the approaching animal.
  • Press the button on the top of the Safecity electronic dog repellent device until the red LED lights.
  • Be sure to continue to point the unit toward the approaching animal.  The Daze’s emission is directional and the effectiveness is reduced when pointed at an angle.
  • Keep the button pressed for 2 to 3 seconds.  Short burst of 2 to 3 seconds are far more effective than a prolonged constant activation.
  • Note the dog reaction.  The dog may cease all hostility and retreat, or maintain the aggressive behaviour form a distance.
  • If the dog does not respond to the Safecity Dazer, continue using it as you make good your escape.

Battery Removal and Installation

  1. Remove the two metal housing screws on the underside of the unit.
  2. With the button side of the unit upwards, remove the top half. The board assembly and battery {if installed} should remain in the lower half.
  3. Carefully pull the battery toward the rear of the unit, lifting slightly until the battery is free from the battery terminals.
  4. To install a new battery, align the battery terminals with the proper terminals on the hoard. Push gently until the terminals interlock securely.
  5. Carefully replace the top half of the case, ensuring that the LED fits into the proper opening.
  6. Insert and tighten the two screws removed in step 1, taking care not to over tighten.

The Safecity Dazer electronic dog deterrent device will not hurt the dog physically--or I would not be offering it for sale here.

The ultrasound pitch is a sound that the dog does not like.  The animal will try to avoid it--much the same effect that loud "heavy metal" noise has on me.

The purpose of the electronic dog repelling device is to create and maintain a safe zone between you and the aggressive dog--this to help prevent a dog attack.
